ABOUT THE “DECIDING TOGETHER” DECISION AID

Our Pediatric Deep Brain Stimulation Decision Aid was made through the collaboration of an interdisciplinary team and is funded through the generous support of The BRAIN Initiative.  

This award allowed us to speak to DBS patients, caregivers, and clinicians to figure out what patients want to know when making decisions about deep brain stimulation. In all, we completed nearly 70 patient, caregiver, and clinician interviews to inform the creation of this decision aid.
